Dining at The Waterline

At The Waterline, we offer fresh, stylish and seasonal pub dining. Home cooked food prepared with love from fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create traditional dishes with a modern British feel.

Lunchtime promises hearty sandwiches, refreshing salads and a selection of delicious light bites. For your main course, sample North Sea haddock battered in our guest ale, homemade mushy peas and tartare sauce served with proper chips or chargrilled marinated lamb rump with crushed Jersey Royals. For dessert, indulge in a retro Knickerbocker Glory or go traditional sticky toffee pudding with vanilla bean ice cream.

You are welcome to enjoy your meal inside or out, weather permitting. The rustic tables and chairs in the main bar area are ideal for relaxed dining while the contemporary booths suit larger parties. Alternatively head outside to our terrace and enjoy the sunset over the Tyne alfresco.
